The purpose of this website has been to collect song lyrics available on the Internet to glorify and worship God. A lot of links have been added to support artists and songwriters. Some of the revenue goes back to supporting our website. For example, when visitors buy Christian sheet music from our links, this generates a little revenue to pay our Internet provider costs. But over the past years you may have noticed that the number of songs in the archive has remained the same and this is for a good reason. At first I wanted to renew the site, to spend more time on it and to make song lyric sharing easier and fun. But then I began studying computer science and learned about legal basics and copyright law. Law is not just a term, it's a tool to keep order and I've realized that at my own. Even if someone don't agree about the intellectual property laws or doesn't like them, we all still need to obey them.

Because I live outside of the U.S. it would be close to impossible for me to talk with each song writer or publisher to get their permission to publish their lyrics. I don't have the money to do this. As I metioned, my intention has been to support Christian artist and Christian song lyrics and we will continue that but in a different way. I prayed a lot about this and think that it's best to temporarily close this site. That means that the search box will be available and song names, song titles, albums and artists will be listed but not the lyrics.
